Kearney Daily Hub Thursday, May 11, 1905 Popular Couple Married Adoph Schukar and Miss Alma Sohrweid are United. On Wednesday afternoon, May 3, at half past two o'clock at the German Lutheran church, Miss Alma Sohrweid, youngest daughter of William Sohrweid, was married to Adolph Schukar, oldset seon of Carl Schukar, Rev. Grosse officiating. Fred Schukar, only brother of the groom, asted as best man and Miss Pauline Schukar oldest sisterof the groom and Miss Dora Reeh acted as bridesmaids. Louis Sohrweid, brother of the bride and Joe. Hardwicker acted as groomsmen. After the ceremony, a bounteous supper was served at the bride's home, to which all did ample justice. About thirty families were present. The bride was attired in a becoming dress of bright blue challie trimmed in white satin and pearl beading, while the groom wore the conventional black. The bridesmaids were dressed in lovely costumes of tan and white. The happy young couple received many lovely and useful presents. Their many relatives and friends wish them a long, happy and prosperous life.
