Note: 1850 and 1860 censuses indicate a birth year of 1849. Not found in Toledo City, IA, 1900 Obit: Traer Star-Clipper: George Beecher, who with his wife came here from Colorado last year, and has been living on the A. L. Ames farm, died Tues- (a line is apparently missing) stroke last summer, and has been unable to get around since. He has been failing of late and died possibly as the result of a second stroke. Deceased was sixty years of age. He was born in Yorkville, Ill., January 12, 1852. He married Louise (sic) Usher, in Toledo, Iowa, who survives, together witn one son in Colorado. Rev Hunt had charge of the funeral services, which were held Wednesday at the Ames home. Burial in Buckingham cemetery. Tombstone (cemetery books of Tama County): George G.
