a. Note:   w York University School of Commerce, Accounts, and Finance, and had served as assistant director of admissions. He was director of the school's Gallatin House. Dr. Ottman was a 1923 graduate of Rutgers University, and attended New Jersey Law School, Columbia University, and New York University. He received a doctorate in economics. He was a member of the board of directors and executive council for the New York chapter of the American Statistical Association, and was executive director of the Society of Business Advisory Professions. He was editor of Current Business Studies. Dr. Ottman was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Ridgewood. He was a former executive board member of the Boy Scouts of America. Surviving are two daughters, Marcia Smith of Crockett, Calif., and Mary Jane Wares of Dayton, Md.; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. His wife, Dorothy Mae McCrae Ottman, is deceased. Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, with burial in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting is today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the C. C. Van Emburgh Chapel, Ridgewood. Donations to the Rev. Frederick Ottmann Memorial Scholarship Fund, co Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 155 Linwood Ave. Ridgewood, N J. 07450, would be appreciated.
