  Funeral services were held last Tuesday, Feb. 28, 1928, for Mrs. Caroline Miller at the St Peter's Lutheran church Rev. O A Graebner officiating. lnterment was made in the Zion Lutheran cemetery north of Hampton. Mrs Caroline Miller nee Stack was born March 3, 1845, at Jacobsdorf, West Prussia, Germany. At this place she was also confirmed and baptized in the Lutheran churoh of which she has always been a faithful member. In 1864 she was united in marriage to Mr Friedrick Miller and to this union were born two children, one son and one daughter. The Miller family came to America in 1874 and settled in Hamilton county on a place 6 miles northeast of Hampton where Mr Miller passed away during the year 1901. Since then Mrs Miller has made her home with her daughter Mrs Henry Rohrs at which place she passed away from this life to a greater one Friday evening February 24th after a lingering illness of about four years. She died at the age of 82 years 11 month and 21 days.
 She leaves to mourn her loss two children, Amos Miller and Mrs Henry Rohrs of Hampton; two brothers Carl Stach of Cambridge, Ill., and Herman Stach of Polk, Nebr.; two sisters Mrs Emilie Marquardt who lives at Ontario, Canada and Mrs Minnie Fenster of Hampton; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren besides a number of other relatives and a host of friends.
