Sygelz@aol.com Paula Schneider Aquilar --- Jan. 2005 -- Information I have records a Rev. Theodor Wichman being born 8-15-26 @ Gromsee, Bradenburg, Prussia. His father Carl Dietrich was a tailor and his mother's name was Wilhelmina Roeme. Rev. Wichman was confirmed at 14 and in the Spring of 1846 entered the Union Mission House in Berlin to prepare himself for missionary work in Africa. He died on 09-02-1894, having the previous day preached regular Sunday sermon in Freistadt, and on the 2nd attended a voters meeting. His daughter Christianna, born in 1869 (one of 11 children), married Edward Schneider. Their son, Rev. Carl Edw. (born 1897) was a Pastor in WI and married to Anne-Marie Buening from Milwaukee.
Their son, my Dad, Carl H. Schneider married Elsa Haller whose father, Karl, was a Pastor in Kankakee, IL (my mother was born in Missouri during her father time as Pastor in Bourbon (?)). I was born in Kankakee (1949) and have lived in Chicago for over 30 years...and here we are ...
