Witnesses at their marriage were: Carl Labs, Emma Czenkusch, Otto Hemmann, Magdalina Abels, Gottfried Hemmann, Luena Thiede, Emil Buehler, and Anna Labs. Gus bought his house from Sears & Roebuck.
