Notes
a. Note:   In Hacker "Eighteenth Century Register of Emigrants from Southwest Germany" No Yantz but Jantz - Sebastian from Trulben 1764 (Source is Hacker's original book in German) and Jantz, Sebastian from Trulben 1791 (same source) In Strassberger and Hinke "Pennsylvania German Pioneers " are Frantz, Hans, Hans George, James and Johan Viblib (Philip) Again in Hacker's book - There are two Janz (brothers as indicated) one named Johann and the other Georg. George came from Wollmersheim/Lautere (so did his brother) both emigrated in 1765 again the source is in Hacker's original book (in German -I have no access to that material.
Now back to the Pennsylvania German Pioneers
Hans George Jantze (indication that he could not write) arrived on the Ship Louisa, Capt. John Pitcarne from Rotterdam October 3, 1753- in the portion that indicates when they took their oath - his name is spelled Hans George Jansy (again the indication that he could not write.)
1790 census, there's a George Yandes in Frederick County, Maryland, with 1 male over 16, 1 male under 16, and 1 female; there's also a George Yonse (?), with 1 male under 16, 1 over 16, and 3 females. - this matches what we know about this family.
