 Helen P. Ellerman, 43, died at her home at 953 West Seventh Street, Los Angeles, Calif., July 8, 1931. She was born at Fort Madison, Oct 28, 1888, and was the daughter of August and Philopena Miller Ellerman. She lived in this city until 1911, then moved to Los Angeles where she made her home until the time of her death. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Surviving her are a sister, Mrs. Laura Martin, 313 Avenue G, this city, and a brother Gus Ellerman , Kansas City, Kan. The funeral was held in Los Angeles at 2 p.m. Friday, July 10, and the remains cremated at that place. Miss ellerman leaves many friends here who aer grieved to learn of her death.
 An earlier article states: In accordance with Miss Ellerman's wish, her remains will be cremated. The ashes will be returned to this city and buried in the family lot in Oakland cemetery.
