a. Note:   Kearney Hub? Harvey J. Hallier, 81, of Overton, died Monday, Nov. 22, 1992, at Westside Home in Lexington.
 Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church in Overton with the Rev. K.F. Lakeuati officiating. The casket will be open at the church [prior to the service. Burial will be in the Overton Cemetery. Reynolds-Love Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
 He was born Feb. 19, 1912, at Bertrand to August and Sophie Langenberg Hallier. He attended Bertrand rural schools.
 Hallier was in the Quartermaster Division of the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He served for five years.
 He married Velma Schnacker in 1952 in Grand Island. He farmed in the Bertrand and Miller areas most of his life.
 He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
 Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Lutt of Grand Island, and Shelly Zimmer of San Marino, Calif; two step daughters, Delores Heil of Seattle, Wash.; and Lexie Lundgren of Kearney; two step-sons, Richard Schnacker and Gary Schnacker, both of Lexington; 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
 He was preceded in death his his wife in 1983, by his parents and a brother.
 Memorials are suggested to the Overton Volunteer Fire Department or the donor's choice.
