Note: Francis Jackson was a stockbroker in Grant MI Obituary Notice -- Jackson - Francis H. (Frank) Jackson, aged 60, of RR 2, Grant, passed away Wednesday after a long illness. Surviving are one brother, Gordon of Rockford, Michigan and nieces and nephews. Mr. Jackson will repose at the McKinley Chapel, in Grant, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Arthur A. Buege officiating. Interment Ashland Center Cemetary. Obituary Notice 2 -- GRANT - Francis H. Jackson, 60, of Grant R.R. 2, died Wednesday at Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids, after a long illness. He was born in Ashland Township, where he lived his entire life. Mr. Jackson was a retired stockbroker and farmer. He was known for his registered short horn cattle. He graduated from Fremont High School and married Elsie Kriger May 28, 1933, at Kent City. She died Aug, 2, 1962. Mr. Jackson was a member of the Short Horn Breeders Association and Lakeside Farm Bureau. Surviving is a son, Gordon of Rockford and nieces and nephews. The funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at McKinley Funeral Chapel, Grant. Burial will be at Ashland Ceneter Cemetery.
