Note: PVT 324 Field Arty World War I Obituary notice --- STREAM - Ernest E. Stream aged 73 of Grant, passed away Thursday in Bradenton, Fla. Surviving are his wife, Cecile; two daughters, Mrs. John (Dorothy) Dill, Grant, Mrs. John (Mary) Jordan, Muskegon Heights; two sons, Robert, Ravenna, Charles, Muskegon Heights; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Edward of Kent City, Harold of South Bend, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Johnson of Sparta, Mrs. Edna Deremo, Grand Rapids. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Mamrelund Lutheran Church, Kent City with Rev. Donald Johnson officiating. Interment Parkview Cemetery, Grant. The family and relatives are asked to meet in the church chapel at 1:45 p.m. for prayer service. Mr. Stream will repose at the McKinley Chapel in Grant after 3 p.m. Sunday and will repose at the church beginning Monday at 12 noon. Obituary notice 2 --- Ernest E. Stream Taken By Death in Florida Funeral services were held Monday at the Mamrelund Lutheran Church of Kent City for Ernest E. Stream, aged 73, of 209 Commerce Street, Grant, who passed away on Thursday, December 4, at his winter home in Palmetto, Florida, after a short illness. Mr. Stream was born on May 16, 1896, in Muskegon and grew up in Kent City where he was graduated from the Kent City High School in 1915. He was a veteran of World War 1 and was married to the former Cecil G. Demmon on September 29, 1921, in Kent City. Mr. Stream had lived in the Grant area for the past 36 years and was a self-employed carpenter until his retirement. He was a member of the Mamrelund Church and a member and past commander of the Casnovia V. F. W. Post. He is survived by his wife, Cecil; two daughters, Mrs. John (Dorothy) Dill of Grant and Mrs. John (Mary) Jordan of Muskegon Heights; two sons, Robert of Ravenna and Charles of Muskegon Heights; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers., Edward Stream of Kent City and Harold Stream of South Bend, Indiana; and two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Johnson of Sparta and Mrs. Edna Deremo of Grand Rapids. A son, Dale Stream, died on a flying mission over the North Sea in World War II. The Rev. Donald Johnson, pastor of the Mamrelund Church, officiated at the funeral services.
