Note: Lida was the first to marry and leave home. Obituary Notice -- Lida E. Minnich, daughter of John and Helen Kriger, was born at Ashland, Michigan, October 28, 1865. She died at her home in Kent City on December 25, 1932, at the age of 67 years, 1 month and 27 days. On August 28, 1881, she was united in marriage to Asa C. Brink. To this union four children were born, Ray W. Brink of Fremont, Michigan; Anna Holkum of New Memphis, Illinois; Roy I Brink of Tampa, Florida, and E. Kent Brink of Kent City. After residing in Fremont, Michigan, a number of years, she came to Kent City where, on January 18, 1912, she was united in marriage to George W. Minnich, who preceded her in death. In girlhood she united with the church and remained a faithful member until her death. She leaves to mourn her departure four children, nine grandchildren, two brothers, two sisters and a host of relatives and friends. Lida was the first to marry and leave home.
