  Ernest Kriger, 75, Dies
 Worked at Clark Home
  Ernest M. Kriger, 75, of Fruitport township, Muskegon county, a resident of Grand Rapids many years, died unexpectedly Tuesday at Hackley hospital in Muskegon of a heart attack. A native of Ashland township in Newaygo county, Mr. Kriger moved here in 1903. He was a cabinetmaker and served as maintenance superintendent for Clark Memorial home. After residing at Sparta from 1914, to 1925, Mr. Kriger returned to Grand Rapids to work at Clark Memorial home until he retired In 1946. He was a member of Bethany Methodist church at Ludington. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elva Bonter Kriger, two daughters, Mrs. Albert Anderson of Fruitport township and Mrs. Sidney Hohimer of Grand Rapids, and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Carpenter of Chicago, Ill. and Miss Anna Kriger of Kent City. Services, will be held at 1 p. m. Friday at the Lee funeral home in Muskegon Heights, with burial in Snow cemetery at Kent City.

  Ernest M. Kriger, 5441 Airline road, Fruitport Township died yesterday at Hackley Hospital, where he was admitted Saturday. Mr. Kriger, who was 75 years old, was born May 21, 1896 in Ashland Township, Newaygo County. He was a cabinetmaker and for a number of years was employed as maintenance superintendent of the Clarke Memorial Home in Grand Rapids. He moved to Grand Rapid, in 1903 and later to Sparta. In 1925 he returned to Grand Rapids, where he lived until 1946, when he retired and moved to Bass Lake, Pentwater. He had made his home In Fruitport Township since November. He was a graduate of Valparaiso University in Indiana and a member of the Bethany Methodist Church of, Ludington, where he was active in the choir and church work. His wife, the former Miss Elva B. Bonter, whom he married in 1903 at Sparta, survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Albert Anderson, of Fruitport Township, and Mrs. Sidney Hohimer, of Grand Rapids, and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Carpenter of Chicago and Miss Ann Kriger of Kent City.
