a. Note:   Note by Dale Stream - Aunt Lois got polio about the age of 18? and also had diabetes. In spite of that she was one of the nicest people you would want to know.
  Obituary notice --
  BURNETT - Mrs. Lois M. Burnett, aged 48 of rural Newaygo, formerly of Cedar Springs and Byron Center, passed away Friday evening following a long illness. Surviving are her husband, Howard; two sons, Wayne of Fremont and Donald at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Stream of Kent City; two brothers, Harold Stream of Kent City, Keith Stream of Scottville; one sister, Mrs. Beth Holben of Grand Rapids. Funeral services will be held Monday, 2 PM from the McKinley Funeral Home in Grant, with Pastor Robert L. Clawson officiating. Interment Idlewild Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral chapel.

  In appreciation, we wish to thank the ladies of the Bills Lake Bible Church for the food they brought to the house and to the Kent City Townhall. Also the ladies of Mamrelund Lutheran Church for, the food and serving at the Kent City Townhall, special thanks to Pastor Robert Clawson for his words of sympathy and services and to friends and relatives for floral tributes, cards and kindness during our bereavement of Lois Burnett.
