Continued: From Jim Sellars: "Samuel Jones was married to Amelia (a.k.a. Milly) Speer, daughter of (Joshua?) and Elizabeth (Vandeveer?) Speer. They lived in Casey (previously part of Lincoln) Co., KY until about 1814 or 1815 when Samuel Jones and his brother-in-law Moses Speer moved to Orange Co., IN. Samuel Jones died in Orange Co., IN in 1831 and left a will naming his wife Amelia and children: Elizabeth Woodward, Nancy Busick, Moses, Samuel and David Jones. Census records place Samuel's birth about 1775. Amelia Speer Jones died after 1860. The census records place her birth in NC around 1781 or 1782. Samuel's brother James and others may have also gone to Orange Co., IN"
