Note: ses that her father was born in Scotland... perhaps wishful thinking on her part. Although John says that he was born in NC in some censuses, he was born in Marlboro Co, SC. His mother Margaret was born in Scotland.
I don't know if the John found in Nebraska is the same John Conner, but it is suspicious that he shows up where so many others of Grant Co, IN do. If it is him, then he has 2 overlapping families. (Not him in Nebraska. 11/29/2011)
