a. Note:   Obituary - New Castle, PA, Wednesday, March 30, 1904 Mrs Mary Weatherby, 88 years old, died at her home on Pennsylvania Avenue, Monday morning at 8 o'clock, death resulting from the infirmities incident to extreme age. The disolution was not unexpected as she had been in poor health for a considerable time. The deceased is survived by five sons, Martin, Peter, Sylvester, Jacob, and Ellsworth Shoaf, and by one daughter, Mrs Margaret Swazey. She was the widow of William Weatherby, but was twice married, her first husband's name being Shoaf. Mrs Weatherby was one of the oldest and most hight respected residents of this section. She was for years a member of the M.E. Church at Savannah and the remains will be laid to rest in the cemetery of that churth. Funeral announcement later.
