a. Note:   This person was identified by Les Carr. According to Rachel E. Revele Lea, her mother Avis died early, the children were subsequently abandoned by their father who ultimately settled in the Portland, Oregon area.
  He contacted Rachel Ellen Revele Lea at her home in Ketchikan, Alaska in the mid-1950's just prior to his death and initiated a reconciliation.
  Rachel Ellen Revele Lea gave an alternate place of birth, Defiance, Ohio.

  She died at the City Hospital of infutive cholangitis, an operation had preceded her death on 8 Feb 1927.
  Rachel Ellen Revele, her daughter, reported that many of her neighbors thought that she lived beyond her means; she was in fact an excellent seamstress and no one could tell that she made most of her own clothing. Rachel said that if a person doubted the above, she said to look at old photos, Avis was almost always wearing the same shoes.
