Info from Michael Duffy: A last rite was conducted Tuesday in Nunda for Reino (Smokey) Anderson, 57, of Rochester who died there Saturday (May 3, 1975) following a short illness.
A former resident of Swain and Nunda, he was the father of Jon and David Anderson, Barbara and Beverly Anderson and Mrs. Gerri Shaltered, all of Dansville, Livingston County, New York.
He was a World War II veteran and was a former employe of the Sharron Optical Co. in Rochester.
Also surviving are his wife, Patricia; daughters, Dorothy Anderson of Rochester, Mrs. Kitty McDonald of Hammondsport, Hiliary Anderson of Stanley and Josephine Anderson of England; three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Gunenether of Lake El Shinor, Calif., Mrs. Helen Aeschdacher of Hilton, and Mrs. Erien Smith of Mannheim, Pa.; three brothers, Arnie of Rochester, Wilho of Seattle, Wash., and Irving of Dalton; and several grandchildren.
