Note: , 1909, Saturday morning after an illness of catarrhal consumption. He was born in 1828 and was a son of Joseph and Anna Campbell. For the past three years he had been the janitor of the Letts Memorial Home, and he died at that place. He is survived by his wife, one son, Charles of Pennsylvania; one daughter, Mrs. Minnie Mapes of Corning and several grandchildren. Burial in Hillside cemetery. Dundee, N.Y. Oct 2, 1909. Campbell, an aged and respected citizen, died at his home in the Letts Memorial Homes on Hollister street Saturday forenoon after having been in feeble health for a long time. Death was caused by catarrhal consumption. Mr. Campbell was born in the town of Starkey in 1828 and has always lived in this village. He was the son of Joseph and Anna Campbell, early settlers in this section. For many years he followed the carpenter's trade, and for the past three years had been the janitor of the Letts Memorial Home, where he resided with his wife. He leaves, besides his widow, one son Charles, and one daughter Mrs. Minnie Mapes of Corning. Member of the Presbyterian Church - Rev. F. H. Bisbee, pastor. Henry's brother - Ruth's great uncle.
