Note: June 9, 2015 I believe we are a match from the Collins line. We both have Mary Collins in our trees, even though our dates are a tad different. I knew that Mary's last name was Sheldon, but I was never able to get further than that. Mary's my 2nd great grand aunt. Her brother, Emmet Collins is my 2nd ggrandfather. http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/60996188/person/46093907993 I have information on their parents, John Collins (1806-1892) and Elizabeth Kellicut or Callicutt (1812-1843) and John Collins parents John (1773-1844) and Prusia (last name unknown as of yet) (1777-1857). I visited their graves when visiting NY on vacation this year and took photos if you are interested. Sue Fulton fulton.sue@gmail.com _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Hi Sue, I happened to notice your message at my Ancestry inbox this morning. Thanks for writing this to share yours with me. Benjamin F. Sheldon and Mary Collins had daughter Harriet Elizabeth Rozler Sheldon (my 2nd ggrandmother). I have a newspaper photo of Frank Sheldon. My grandmother gave me the newspaper copy. I will add Mary Collins' parents and grandparents to her as my 4th & 5th great grandparents. Thank you. 1865 New York Census shows my Harriet's father was B. F. Sheldon and it tells me that it is the same guy. Will add some more resources for you. They should show Marys name there. Best, Don Ames dames@cox.net P.S. Feel free to exchange extra resources. >>> I believe we are a match from the Collins line.
