ARGUE-Thelma Annie, died peacefully on Friday, November 18, 2005. Predeceased by her parents, Richard and Agnes Clarke, her husband Fred, and her sister Hazel Nederhoff. Thelma is survived by her son Clive and daughter Carol (Larry) Sakundiak, nine grandchildren: Michael (Linda), Cameron (Alexis), Mark (Danielle) Kincade; Chris (Shannon), Russell (Jen), David, and Robert Argue; Kim and Wade Sakundiak, and nine great grandchildren, as well as her sisters Ella Tutt and Trenna (Sam) Drader, sister-in law Mickie (Dick) Coons, and numerous nieces and nephews. Thelma was born and lived most of her life in the Rouleau district where she and her husband farmed. Her family and friends benefited from the knitting and needlework which she so enjoyed before she lost her sight, and they also enjoyed the delicious pies, bread and doughnuts that she would bake for family meals, or take to activities such as community suppers at the rink. Our childhood memories include the delicious full course meals packed in the trunk of the car at harvest time. The last few years of her life were spent at Marian Chateau where she appreciated the kindness of the staff and residents, and the Sinclair and Black families who were so kind to her, along with the help of her granddaughter Kim. Thelma also very much enjoyed the too few months she spent at Acaster Place, where Stephanie and her staff made her feel so comfortable and welcome. Due to declining health, the last year of her life was spent at Sunset Extendicare, and the Lumsden & District Heritage Home. Thelma's family would like to thank the staff at all of her residences for their kindness, loving care, and assistance. At mother's request there will be no service held, and interment of her ashes will be at a later date beside her husband Fred, in Memorial Gardens in Regina. Flowers are gratefully declined. Anyone who wishes, may make a donation in Thelma's name to the charity of their choice. Arrangements are entrusted to Speers Funeral Chapel.
