died last Friday at Virgil, N.Y. She was born Ruth Buck in the town
of Ridgebury, Bradford county, Pa., May 17, 1838. Mr. and Mrs. Allen
had been married fifty-six years December 28th last. She is survived
by her husband, the Rev. D. J. Allen; two sons, Stanley G. of this city and the Rev. Fred L. Allen of Frankfort, N.Y. and one daughter,
Mrs. Charles A. Starr of this city. Burial was in the Van Duzer cemetery, town of Veteran. (1913) __________________________________________________________________
