a. Note:   W. J. C. Bish
 Mr. Wm. J. C. Bish, a well-known and respected retired farmer died at his residence at Mt. Pleasant, from cancer from which he was a great sufferer for some time, on Thursday, July 7, 1913, aged seventy-two years. He leaves a widow and the following children, one daughter, Mrs. Jacob Starner, and three sons, Messrs. Harvey C., Milton W., and Horatio S. T. Bish, all residing in the vicinity. He was a member of the Lutheran church and his funeral was held on Tuesday morning, at the Bachman’s Church. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. He was a member of the old Mt. Pleasant Band, and the survivor, Ezra Byers, Michael J. Snyder, David Myers, Irvin Warehime, John Byers and Denton S. Warehime, were the pallbearers by his request. Mr. Edward Groft of Union Mills was funeral director.
