Note: On December 31, 2013, Melvern M. Slaysman; beloved husband of Jean (nee Huneke) and the late Loretta Slaysman; devoted father of Gail Neal and Gary Davis and the late Robert and Joan Slaysman. Also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Monday at 10am. Visiting hours Sunday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9pm. Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
