BODY FOUND IN WATER THAT OF BARGEMAN Identified as Joseph Keneval, Of Curtis Bay, By Relative Of Dead Seaman
A body found floating off the Sharps Island buoy Monday by the crew of a schooner has been identified as that of Joseph Keneval, of Curtis Bay, a member of the crew of the barge Walton, which went adrift in the storm Saturday night. The body was identified in an undertaking establishment at Church Creek, Dorchester county, by John Keneval, a relative of the dead seaman. It has been sent here for burial. The Walton was one of two barges being towed by the tug Richmond when the three vessels were separated by the storm. A. W. Insley, 1805 North Pulaski street, and Edward J. Harmon, of Curtis Bay, were rescued by the Coast Guard cutter Apache from the barge Delhi, which went aground off Thomas Point. No trace has been found of the Walton or of Andrew Williams, of Curtis Bay, a member of Its crew, although reports have been received at the offices of the barge owner that it was wrecked on Taylor's Island and that Williams' body had washed ashore there. The company officals are attempting to verify the report.
