a. Note:   M. Jerome Myers Hangs Himself In His Barn
 M. Jerome Myers, a farmer, living near Taneytown, went to his barn Monday afternoon and hung himself to the rafters. He was found about 6 o’clock by his family who went In search for him. Mr. Myers was 62 years, 6 months and 24 days of age. He was last seen alive at noon. No cause is given for his actions.
 He Is survived by his wife and two children - William Myers, of Taneytown, and Claude Myers, of Littlestown. Pa.
 Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Reformed church, conducted by Rev. Guy P. Brady. Interment In adjoining cemetery. The pallbearers were Edward Burk, Tobias Reed, George Sauble, John A. Null and Milton Hawk. C. O. Fuss & Son funeral directors.
 Taneytown
 Jerome Myers, committed suicide on Monday, shortly after noon by hanging himself in the barn. After eating his dinner as usual, he went to the barn to get the team ready to do some hauling. He was found by Mrs. Myers about 4 o’clock in the evening when she went to the barn to do the feeding. She started to ascend the haymow to hunt eggs when she discovered his body hanging from a rafter suspended by a lead line. She hastily summoned Wm. E. Burke. No cause is known for the rash act. Besides his wife he Is survived by two sons, William, of Taneytown; and Claud, of Littlestown. Funeral Wednesday morning at the Reformed church, meeting at the house at 10.30 a. m.
