Note: Graduated from Dacoma High School, Dacoma, Woods County, Oklahoma in 1933. Grew up on the family farm in Woods County Oklahoma, just 2 miles east of Dacoma, toward Alva. After high school, she attended Alva Municipal College, and was a school teacher most of her adult life, teaching in Ok, Omaha Nebraska, and Naperville, Illinois until she and her husband Earl retired in Rogers, Arkansas.
