Joe had a sister Beatrice (Dot) who used to teach school at Community High at Robins, Ohio. Husband, Larry Marlatt She moved to Lake Pananofskee, Fla. A brother, Bud (Kenneth J.), married Kathyrn, they had 4 sons: Joe Wesley born Feb 7, 1938, died in a drowning accident on a commercial fishing boat in Washington state Sept 3, 1978.
. Bud was shot by "doc" Campton while drinking wine when the boys were fairly young and Kathyrn raised them alone. Joe's other brother was Percy John. Both Bud (1908-1952) and Percy (1905-1952) are buried in Zion Cemetery, Wesland Twp. Joe Wesley is also buried there. Joe's parents John and Jessie Barber are buried in the Old Cambridge Baptist Cemetery (Brick Church Rt. 660) Jackson Twp.
