a. Continued:   On Thursday, April 12, 1900 in the Guernsey Times , there was an article -- Born, to Howard Turner and wife, of North Third street, Monday April 9, 1900, a daughter. No record was found at the Guernsey Co., Ohio Courthouse at that time period. Her older sister and younger sister and brother were found, but not her. Older sister Mary said she was born at parents home by Gomber/Third St.
b. Note:   died as a result of sugar diabetes. age 46y, 6m, 11d .
c. Continued:   In the June 5, 1900 census she is listed as Vera b Apr 1900 age 2/12.
d. Continued:   1910 she is listed as Bessie E. age 10.
e. Continued:   Located in 1920 Census when 19 years old married and living in New Concord, Muskingum Co.,Ohio. She was listed as 22 years old on Mary Elda's birth certificate.
f. Note:   1930= age 29 married with 4 children
g. Continued:   the license was taken out in Guernsey Co and is filed there. According to daughter Mary Elda, Bessie went to Normal School at New Concord. She never taught school, she got married instead.
