  Nellie Ann Daigle Caro
  Nellie Ann Daigle Caro, 78, a native and resident of Houma, died at 10:40 p.m., Monday, Aug. 6, 2001. Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m.
 today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday. Mass will be Wednesday at St. Louis Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Contact Chauvin Funeral Home at xxxxxxxxxx for Mass time.
  She is survived by her husband, Horis Joseph Caro of Houma; one son, Jerry J. and wife Terri Caro of Houma; three brothers, Wilbert Daigle and Edley Daigle Sr., of Houma and Nelson Daigle of Harvey; four grandchildren, James Caro, Beth Caro, Natalie Franco and
 Peter Caro; one step grandchild, Amanda LeRay; five great-grandchildren, Kandice Boudreaux, Taylor Caro, Brianna Caro, Brittney Caro and Blake Caro and one step- great-grandchild, Jacob DeLaune.
  She was preceded in death by her parents, Elphege and Angeline Guidry Daigle; three stepbrothers, Charlie Daigle, Shelly Daigle and Henry Daigle; and four stepsisters, Magnolia Cyr, Osia Sonier, Mathilda Bergeron and Elda Thibodaux.
  She was a retired office manager for Caro. She was a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

 Nellie had been sick with Altzheimers for years. She was never put in a nursing home. She had round the clock care in her own home. She died in her own home in Bayou Blue, Lafourche Parish, LA.
