 Funeral services were held October 19 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church for Cyprien John Savoie, 78, 214 Margaret, wo died, Oct 18 at 5:30 am at Terrebonne General, following a short illness.
 The deceased was born May 2, 1894 at Lafourche Parish. He was the son of Theophile Savoie and Octavia Caro Savoie. He is survived by two sons, Claude Savoie, Houma and Charles Savoie of Marrero; four daughters, Mrs Joseph Langridge, Bell Chase; Mrs. Paul Fanguy, Houma; Mrs David Porche, Algiers and Mrs Gilbert Olivier, Houma; two brothers, Oliver Savoie and Ursin Savoie, Bayou Blue; three sisters, Miss Laura Savoie, New Orleans, Miss Azelie Savoie, Bayou Blue, and Mrs August Chauvin, Bayou Blue. Also surviving are 23 grandchilden grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
 Mr. Savoie was a retired produce dealer.
 First National Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Interment was in St. Frances de Sales cemetery number one.
