Azelie A. Savoie, a native of Houma and a resident of Rt. 5, Houma, died Sunday, Oct 16 at 10:30 am. She was 91.
Visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home is now in progress with a recitation of the Rosary scheduled for tonight at 7:30 pm. Visitation will resume tomorrow at 8 am and continue until funeral time.
Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, Oct 18 at 10 am at St. Louis Catholic Church, followed by interment in St. Louis Cemetery.
She is survived by one sister, Laura Savoie of Houma.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Theophile Savoie and Octavia Caro; brothers, Ursin, Cyprien, Edward, Peter, Homer, Edwin and Isaac Savoie; and sister, Meloie Savoie.
