 Jennie Marcel Savoie, 85, a native and resident of Bayou Blue, died at 9:40 am Monday (Aug. 20, 1984)
 Visitation will be from 5 pm until 10 pm Wednesday and from 8 am until funeral time on Thursday at the funeral home.
 The funeral will be at 10 am Thursday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Bayou Blue.
 Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
 SURVIVED by one son, Dr. Isaac J. Savoie of Houma; daughters, Irma S. Illum of Houma and Louise S. Clodio of Calif; brother, Jesse A. Marcel of Bayou Blue; sister, Laurentine M. Bergeron of BAyou Blue; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
 PRECEDED by her husband, Peter A. Savoie; parents, Theodule and Adelaide Bergeron Marcel; sisters, Loise M. Dupre, Lucy Marcel and Armentine M. Guidry; brothers, Wiley Marcel, Paul Marcel and Dennis Marcel.
