Note: Ronald Gene Peeler, 76, currently of Liberty, passed away Jan. 26, 2018 in Liberty, Texas. He was born Aug. 3, 1941, in Kansas City, Mo., to parents Gene and Gertrude Short Peeler. He served in the United States Navy and had worked as a welder.
Mr. Peeler was preceded in death by his father, Gene Peeler; mother, Gertrude Keeton; and brother, Wayne Peeler. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Priscilla Babin Peeler a native of Raceland and currently of Liberty; sons, Scott Peeler and wife, Julie, and Travis Peeler; daughter, Angela Hebert and husband, Coby; grandchildren, Linda Mae, Gavin, Chas, and Megan; also numerous other relatives and friends.
