Note: Houma Newspaper Deaths, 1994, p. 12 Perry John Bergeron Sr., 72, native of Terrebonne Parish, resident of Houma, died of heart failure Friday, Jan. 14, 1994. Services Chauvin Funeral Home Chapel, burial in St. Francis Cem. #2. He is survived by his wife, Shirley B. Bergeron of Houma; stepmother, Mary B. Bergeron of Houma; two sons, Perry Bergeron Jr. and Allie "Petch" Bergeron of Houma; one daughter, Sally B. Camp of Houma; three brothers, David, Gene and John Bergeron of Houma; seven sisters, Suzanne Bergeron, Rachael Haydel, Ruth Pitre, Ruby Ellender, Patsy Bergeron, Myrtle Bergeron and Judy Durocher of Houma. He was preceded by his parents, John J. Bergeron and Elda Babin Bergeron; five brothers, Roland, Sidney, Carol, Marty and Huey Bergeron; and two sisters, Melba Bergeron and Celina B. Carlos. He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Houma, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, and a retired employee of Damco Pipe Testers.
