Mitchell Guidry
Mitchell "Mitch" Henry Guidry, 82, a native and resident of Houma, died at 10 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2008.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral home. Mass will be at noon Tuesday at funeral home chapel, with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park.
She is survived by one daughter, Janet LeCompte and husband, Mitch, of Houma; two brothers, Ulysses Guidry of Houma and Louis Guidry of Grand Caillou; two grandchildren, Derek LeCompte and Kayla LeCompte; and two grandchildren, Cameron LeCompte and Jayce LeCompte.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Beaulah Mayeaux LeCompte; his parents, Freddie Guidry and Armantine Marcel Guidry; five brothers, Acklen, Whitney, Hewitt, Wade and Chester Guidry; and one sister, Sarah Guidry.
He was a retired self-employed electrician and a member of Thibodaux Amateur Radio Club. He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
