  December 12, 1999 Joseph "Joe" H. Babin Joseph "Joe" H. Babin, 86, a native and resident of Raceland, died at 12:03 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999.
 Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at Falgout Funeral Home and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial
 in the church cemetery.
 SURVIVED by his wife, Bernice Marie Bourgeois Babin; two sons, Presley Babin and wife Linda of Raceland and Clyde Babin and wife Arlene of Houma; three daughters, Evelyn Babin of New Orleans, Mrs. Carl (Loretta) Smith of Beaumont, Texas, and Mrs. James (Joyce) Osbourn of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Blanche Matherne, Solange "Bib" Benanti and Marie "Mickey" Bourgeois; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
 PRECEDED in death by his parents, Hypolite and Alice Martin Babin; two brothers, Hector "Jack" and Lionel "T-Com" Babin; and four sisters, Hermine Waguespack, Evella Bergeron, Esther Rahmel and Lilly Sevin.
 He was a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church.
