Note: Death Notices published May 26, 1998 Times Picayune EDWARD JOSEPH SAVOIE JR. Edward Joseph Savoie Jr., a retired painter for American Can Co., died Friday at West Jefferson Medical Center. He was 84. Mr. Savoie was born in Bourg and lived in Bridge City for many years. Survivors include his wife, Marie Ayo Savoie; two sons, Carl E. and Michael P. Savoie; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A Mass will be said today at 10 a.m. at Westside Funeral Home, 5101 West Bank Expressway, Marrero.
