Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Marie Bourgeois Rogers (Carroll); sons, Edward Bourgeois (Cheryl) and Donald Bourgeois (Dianna); nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oral Bourgeois; parents, Hypolite and Alice Babin; brothers, Jack, Joe, Lionel and Presley Babin; sisters, Evella Bergeron, Esther Rahmel, Lillie Sevin, Solange Benanti, Hermine Waguespack and Blanche Matherne; and one grandson.
Marie was charter member of the Catholic Daughters.
