Note: DNA PROVEN through another daughter's and son's children Leo was in his mid-60s when he learned Robert Henry JONES was not his father. The person who promised to bring the proof, died. Leo went to Oregon to search for a birth certificate, to learn he was born before Oregon recorded births.
Family stated Roxena ran away with JONES, but never married him. Quite by chance, I found the marriage with her as Ena FLINT (she rarely was addressed as Roxena).
JONES grew very attached to Leo. Family stated JONES stated to give Leo his surname and NOBODY was to tell Leo, or they would deal with him (JONES).
However, George TITUS was the executor for his mother Margaret Isabel (MARLIN) who married Eli FLINT, then James Arthur TITUS. Margaret died in her daughter Sarah's home. Sarah stated with her mother's legal papers was a sealed envelope with DO NOT OPEN UNTIL AFTER MY DEATH written on the outside. George was the one to open the envelope and the one who told Leo his father was not JONES and he'd bring the evidence the next time he came to visit.
