Born in Scotland, he immigrated in 1889 (we have 1910 & 1920 censuses saying 1884, & 1886 w/no source)to the USA (no source). In his later years he re-married in USA to Margaret (Neil) McDonald. Upon his passing, he left the farm to his children, & instructed Helen that Mary McDonald was to get $500.
