Note from Lois E. Myers in her Genealogy of Joseph DeVoto, states that no death certificates were on file for Anthony or Henry William. Presumbably they died as infants and were buried in the old Assinins Cemetery. Numerous attempts have failed to turn up the old burial records of Assiins Cemetery in Barag, Michigan. A check was also made with the Catholic Church in Marquette, but no records could be found.
