a. Note:   Michael William began his career working in the Mansfirld flowu mill owned by Rohm Bothers. He went from Mansfield to Marshall, Indiana, where he also operated a flour mill. He then took his family to Philadelphia where he worked in the shipyards during WWI. Returning to Crawfordsville, he worked for Mid States Steel and Wire, various construction firms and the City of Crawfordsville as an electrician.
