Note: Per Rose Sherry interview Max went from Pgh to Chicago where he lost a fortune. Restaurant business. He was in restaurant and shoe business several times. They returned to Pgh and had a daughter Gloria who died at 10 months due to bowel obstruction. She was the first child.
Did not go to HS, worked for Lubin & Smalley.
Per Sheldon Stein:
Owned a Pinball machine company and when moved to California ran a Bingo business.(gambling)
He gambles quite a bit. He owned a boar. He was a "playboy" and had affairs.
Him and family moved a lot.
