  Thomas Henry Pratt (Thomas Henry6, William5, William4, John3, William2, Griffin1), fifth child of Thomas Henry Pratt and Frances Irion, was born 1832, in Rockingham County, North Carolina. Thomas was a twin brother of James R. Pratt. He was a farmer. He married Susan Elizabeth Roberts, daughter of George W. Roberts and Janette Strong, March 6, 1856, in Rockingham County, North Carolina. She was born May 10, 1839, in Rockingham County. Susan's sister, Lucy, married Thomas' brother, James R. Pratt. Thomas enlisted as a Private, September 1, 1862, in the CSA, and joined Company K, 45 Infantry Regiment, North Carolina Volunteers. He was wounded and captured during the Battle of Gettysburg. He died July 26, 1863, from his wounds at DeCamp General Hospital on David's Island, New Rochelle, New York, and was buried in the Cypress Hills National Cemetery, Brooklyn, Kings County (Brooklyn), New York. Susan reportedly re-married George Brown. She died May 18, 1881, in Rockingham County, North Carolina. Thomas Henry and Susan Roberts Pratt had three known children:

 Twin brother to James R. Pratt. Elisted as a Private on September 1, 1862, in Company K, CSA. Served in the CSA as a private in the 45 Regiment, Company K, North Carolina, and died of wounds received at Gettysburg, Virginia while a prisoner at David's Island, New Rochelle County, New York.
