 He was born ca. 1788, Prob. Henry Co., Va. Died Oct. 1869, Henry Co., Va.
 HIS PARENTS: Elijah RICHARDSON, Sr. & ?
 HE MARRIED: 7 May 1811, Henry Co., Va. to Elizabeth "Betsy" STULTS.
 She was born ca. 1791, Henry Co. and died Oct. 1877, Henry Co., Va.
 HER PARENTS: Abner STULTS & Nancy EGGLETON.
  John's will was signed July 1868, and proved August 1870. The first appraisement of his estate was signed 15 Oct. 1869 (W.B. 8, p. 202), by Elijah Richardson (his son), and appraised at $424.75. In W. B. 8, p. 204, John Richardson, Sr. (Estate) - Elijah Richardson files Acct. of Sales, which is also dated 15 Oct. 1869. The conclusion is that John Richardson, Sr. died October 1869.
  The will of John Richardson, Sr. is recorded in Henry Co., Va. Will Book 8, p. 222, names the following: Daughter Nancy Burch $50; son Franklin H. Richardson $50; Wife Elizabeth Richardson 100 a. land to hold during her life to be laid off so as to give her the Mansion House where I now reside ... her part after her death to be divided between my children as follows:
