Smith's father) "Daniel ^Smith^ and Abigal ^Smith^ moved to Adams township Hamilton County in 1835 and lived in this neighborhood until his death April 26 1893...Joined M. E. church in Feb 1838 -- lived a Christian life ever since Abigal Smith departed this life April 14 1901...She leaves to mourn their loss three sons two daughters 44 grand-children and 16 great grand-children...Taken from clipping in paper [was written up the left side of this page.
