 ...With the absence of retirement facilities in 1850 and the lack of desire of her sisters-in-law in the neighborhood to care for Samuel Pfaff and Christina, John Inman's home became a nursing home and gave us the closest look at either a birth or marriage certificate for Salome Pfaff that I think we will ever find. And then they had to spoil it for us with an incorrect rendition of her name. JDS
