Smith Daniel Smith (W.N. Parentheses are shown as they are in the two sheets of genealogical material, but I have added them to the notecard at the beginning. Brackets enclose comments that I made for clarification. Double underscore begins a page. The exhibit is a notecard with the information written on two sheets of paper, front and back, and no extant envelope. (See Daniel Smith, 1807-1893, for the complete letter.) JDS --- In 1880, Amelia Crews is shown as an adopted daughter of David H. and Lucinda Smith. --- Mr. Burgess reports in "Hamilton County and the Civil War" that David H. Smith is buried at Crownview cemetery. That is incorrect.
